Who Am I?
Hi! I'm Navneet, thank you for visiting my personal website.
Education
I am an engineer by education, but my true calling is in the digital world. I hold a B.Tech in IT from BKBIET, Pilani and let me tell you, it was one heck of a ride. Four years of coding up a storm and completing assignments with HTML, Javascript, CSS, MYSQL, and dabbling in data structures, Java and C++. I've got a solid understanding of coding that's come in handy in my journey as a technical SEO enthusiast.
I've been in the industry for a while now and while I may not be a coding prodigy, I do have a pretty solid understanding of the syntaxes, structures, and concepts used in coding. This knowledge has come in handy when it comes to understanding how a website is built, spotting JS errors, working with massive sets of data, and even getting creative with custom codes in GTM.
I just finished my Post Graduation Diploma in Marketing Management, and it was worth every penny. I learned about the customer journey, their personas, understanding their pain points, and the importance of intent. I'm putting this knowledge to good use by creating customer-specific content that hits the mark. And let's not forget about the hidden markets I discovered, it's been a game changer for many of my clients.
I've got a bit of a thing for the Python language, and I'm chomping at the bit to dive in and learn it. Once I do, I'll be automating processes left and right!
Work Experience
Agency-Side: I've been in the digital marketing game for seven solid years now, and let me tell you, it's been one heck of a journey. I've gone from an SEO executive to leading a squad of super-talented SEO analysts and tackling the most complex audit projects like a boss. Sure, it's had its fair share of challenges, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Through all the challenges, I've grown and learned more than I ever thought possible. This period of my career has truly been a game-changer.
In-house: This was my first gig and it was a short but sweet experience. I was in charge of running the e-learning company's social media campaigns and hanging out on popular forums like Quora and Reddit. Seeing people engage with my posts felt like pure magic. I was hooked on using Google Analytics to track traffic on my various posts, and loved using UTM parameters to differentiate the traffic. It was my love for Google Analytics that led me to make the switch from social media to search. And boy, am I glad I did!
Freelancing: This has been a wild ride! I've discovered new industry-related tidbits, made some ace connections with fellow SEO enthusiasts, and picked up some killer skills along the way. Sure, being a Freelance SEO Consultant is a bit of a challenge at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way. And let's not forget the diverse clientele that has helped me expand my SEO horizons even further.
